Roleplaying games (i.e. Final Fantasy) were at the peak of popularity when Magic Knight Rayearth first appeared in 1993 in Kodansha’s Nakayoshi magazine, the home of Sailor Moon. With its uniques flare of a girls’ robot story coupled with the original take on an RPG storyline, it became an instant success. Magic Knight Rayearth evan rivaled Sailor Moon, the most popular manga of the time.?

Though it is no longer fully main stream, Magic Knight Rayearth is still gaining new fans and older fans all fall back in love with the story and characters all over again. Though there is still much intrest in this series, there is not enough for the fanbase’s support with a strong webbase. That is where we are coming in. Once upon a time there were two well known websites for the fandom. Primera’s Magic Knight Rayearth Page and Cephiro. Primera’s...Page has sadly fallen from the face of the net with in recent years, and Cephiro can only be found by those who know where it is.

In the shadow of these fine examples of informative webpages, Definitely Not Tokyo is growing and trying to gather as much information as it can possibly hold regarding this wonderful series.

Last Updated : 9 December 2006 : You can call it déjà vu. The last time this website was updated it received its last layout change in April. But this time, there should be more updates to come before the next layout change. New sections have been added. The council has created a MySpace group for those who want to have an official profile of the character. And LiveJournal community page is also updated.
